Alfa Post-Treatment Foam 100 ml

After a tooth extraction, the most important thing is the blood clot that forms in the socket – and ordinary rinsing can wash it out. Alfa Foam is an oral hygiene foam for people after tooth extractions and dental or surgical procedures. It’s a safe alternative to mouthwash that helps reduce the risk of washing out the clot and developing a dry socket.

Why foam instead of a mouthwash?

In the first 2–3 days after a procedure, vigorous rinsing with a regular mouthwash can disturb the clot or cause other complications at the treated site. The foam needs no rinsing – just apply it and wait for it to settle. After that period, you can safely move on to an Alfa mouthwash.

What’s inside

• Chlorhexidine digluconate – limits bacterial growth and plaque build-up while you can’t brush the treated area thoroughly.
• Flaxseed and allantoin – soothe irritation and support mucosal regeneration.
• Sage, chamomile, arnica, oak bark and rosemary – soothing and freshening plant extracts.
• Panthenol and xylitol – care for the mucosa and support tooth protection.

Alcohol-free.

How to use

Use strictly as advised by your doctor. Apply the foam directly into your mouth by pressing the pump twice. If the procedure was on the upper jaw, you can very gently help the foam reach the right place with your tongue. Wait 1–2 minutes for the foam to settle, then gently spit it out. You can repeat this several times a day.
